Postpartum Doula Support

from $1,000.00

The fourth trimester is often times overlooked, but one of the most important times for support. Having a postpartum doula is like having your bestie give you all the support you need without any judgement. I make myself available in the ways that you truly need me to be. So whether it’d be emotional, mental, physical support, or someone to give you a hand around your home, I’m there, like the postpartum bestie every mama deserves.

Before baby arrives, you will receive my Postpartum Planning Handbook, which you can use to help you plan how you want your postpartum time to be. We will discuss the best plan for support before baby arrives.

Support can be during the early morning hours, daytime, or nighttime. Usually families use a combination of the three for their support time in the first four-six weeks, which are usually the most challenging to transition through.

Like pregnancy and birth, every postpartum experience is wildly different.  As a postpartum doula, my goal is to optimize your experience, whatever that looks like for you.  These are some of the services offered during postpartum support time:

  • Nourishing mama with yummy & nutritious foods

  • Assisting with lactation support

  • Preparing pump supplies and/or bottles

  • Processing your birth story

  • Support with other family members such as older siblings

  • Vaginal steaming herbs and assistance with the steaming process

  • Belly binding/closing the bones ceremony

  • Postpartum healing guidance

  • Infant soothing techniques

  • Diapering & baby care

  • Meal preparation

  • Errands around the house

  • Light housekeeping

  • Baby’s laundry (including cloth diaper laundry!)

  • Baby wearing assistance

  • Resources & Referrals

  • Non-judgmental support for the entire family

  • Other services, as needed, for optimal postpartum recovery and adjustment

The postpartum doula package includes:

  • The Postpartum Planning Handbook

  • The Breastfeeding Guidebook

  • 1 hour of postpartum planning time during late pregnancy

  • 20 hours of postpartum care used for any of the above services

Deluxe package is available for a total of 40 hours of postpartum support.
